Violet Evergarden

Violet Evergarden is a very famous anime series which has been on and about the top list for quite some time now. It was a light novel series and then adapted into some series. However, it novel itself was kind enough to win the fifth-best, in all three aspects- light novel series, manga volumes and the screen animation. The animated series took some while to screen, but it finally happened in 2018. Since then a total of 14 episodes have been released in season 1. Now, Violet Evergarden Season 2 is coming up soon.

Violet Evergreen: Storyline and Characters

The story revolves around the soldier, the very disturbed woman who has returned from war. She keeps trying to find out the meaning of life, ways to go back to how things used to be before the war. It seems impossible because life reminds her of the major’s lay words – I love you.

Violet Evergarden Season 2
A plot from the previous season of Violet Evergarden.

Violet is our main character here, and she is a ghostwriter. After losing both her arms, she now has automated help to make life easier. Currently working as an Auto Memory Doll, she helps people to express their true emotions. Helps them find words for their feelings.

Claudia Hodgins, Gilbert, Cattleya Baudelaire are some of the characters appearing more than twice in it ( a lot of times, I mean ). Will violet’s lonely heart find deeper answers? Is the thought of Gilbert ever going to leave her mind? Her hands are worth so much more. What do you think this woman will go through in the next season?

Violet Evergarden Season 2: Release DateΒ

Yes, you must have already guessed. It is delayed due to the same old reason- global pandemic. Since anime requires absolutely no fieldwork and focuses on working in the studio or at home, probably, it won’t be delayed much.

Currently, the entire season is available on Netflix. If you want to try the authentic anime way, try Crunchyroll. To try the series for free, you can switch over to kissanime, and it’s my personal favourite.

We are expecting the season to be here soon either by the end of 2020 or in early 2021.
